Are you an experienced Pension Administrator looking for your next step?
The Thinking Schools Academy Trust is seeking an experienced Pension Administrator to join our team based in either Medway or Portsmouth. This is a new role supporting the ongoing responsibilities of the payroll service. You will be responsible for the administration of pension schemes across the Trust, including LGPS, Teachers’ Pension Scheme and NEST. Your duties will include processing joiners, leavers, monthly returns, queries, year‑end tasks and in‑service pension changes for individuals.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Provide comprehensive administrative service for pension schemes; process joiners, leavers, monthly returns, queries, year‑end tasks and in‑service pension changes; ensure confidentiality and adhere to GDPR regulations.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of local government pension schemes and/or the Teachers’ Pension Scheme.
* Ability to manage conflicting demands, deadlines and priorities.
* Excellent administration skills with high efficiency and accuracy.
* Strong IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft 365.
* Previous experience working in a school or other education environment is desirable.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid working is available. The role can be part‑time or full‑time; the actual working pattern can be discussed at interview.
