Overview
At Grange Hill Veterinary Centre, we are looking for a talented individual to join our compassionate and experienced team. This role offers excellent clinical opportunities and a genuinely supportive work environment. The caseload is split between surgery and medicine. Temporary accommodation in a self-contained one-bedroom flat is available next door to the practice. A welcome bonus of up to £5000 (pro rata) and relocation support of up to £5000 are offered for new hires requiring them.
Schedule
Shape Your Schedule: Flexibility that Work for You! We aim to make it easy to balance work and priorities. Typically, the full-time role involves 40 hours per week, over 4 days, with a shared Saturday rota (1:3). Saturday shifts are 08:45 – 14:45. There is no out-of-hours or on-call requirement for this role.
About Grange Hill
We are a tight-knit team with 2.5 permanent vets, 1 head RVN, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, 2 receptionists and 1 PM. The practice is equipped with: 4 consultation rooms, a fully equipped operating theatre, imaging room with ultrasound and X-ray machines, brand-new dental X-ray facilities, and extensive in-house lab capable of providing same-day test results. There is a dedicated euthanasia room for privacy during difficult times. Our out-of-hours is Pool House Veterinary Hospital, a short drive away. We are located on the outskirts of Lichfield, near countryside settings, with a good-sized free car park and a staff kitchen area with outdoor seating for breaks.
