Solution Architect

Role Overview:
* Location: Milton Keynes / Hybrid
* Package: £75,000 basic + bonus, loan car scheme, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, competitive pension, life assurance (4x salary)

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Design and maintain technical architecture artefacts for business and IT platforms, covering infrastructure, applications, and integration services.
* Define AS-IS, TO-BE, and transitional roadmaps to guide technology evolution.
* Partner with enterprise and technical architects to establish frameworks, standards, and tooling across shared technology platforms.
* Govern the lifecycle of core IT and infrastructure platforms in collaboration with senior technology leaders.
* Provide expert guidance and technical assurance to engineering teams, ensuring consistency and compliance with standards.
* Identify opportunities with business stakeholders to unlock value through scalable, future-ready solutions.
Main Skills Needed:
* Proven experience delivering enterprise architecture functions across infrastructure and application domains.
* Strong understanding of governance, standards, and architectural best practice.
* Confident working with both internal and third-party teams to align technical direction.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Strategic thinker with commercial awareness and a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach.
