In addition, the apprentice may attend site with assessors, attend meetings with the Director / Business Support Manager. The intention is to provide additional training and support once competent in their role to allow the right person to become a fire risk assessor and potentially to support them through a degree to become a fire engineer of the future. Re driving, a driving license is not mandatory as the person will accompany another employee to any premises or event; however, going forward, it would be beneficial for the candidate to attain their driving license.
