Alma Personnel have been tasked with recruiting on behalf of their Warwickshire based client for an experienced service co-ordinator to be based on site. This will be based on a FTC for approximately 8 months. The service Coordinator will be based with in a department that handles maintenance contracts, servicing, parts and rental equipment. Duties and tasks :- * Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming service requests via telephone and other forms of communication * Effectively manage and dispatch technical engineers to customer sites, considering urgency and team capacity * Coordinate the supply and shipment of spare parts for engineer visits and return jobs * Arrange equipment as required by engineers or operations management. * Oversee and process engineer timesheets, ensuring accuracy and reflecting overtime * Liaise with external suppliers for necessary assistance and resources. * Actively manage the company's rental equipment fleet. * Schedule routine servicing with customers and provide regular updates. * Manage the field engineer fleet, including vehicles, uniforms, and PPE * Provide cover for your line manager in their absence * Generate reports from the company's operating system as requested. * Manage costs and maintain the overall profitability of the service department. * Handle out-of-hours customer calls and dispatch engineers for chargeable ...
