Telehandler Driver – Newmarket Area
We are currently recruiting for experienced Telehandler Drivers (NPORS / CPCS) to support ongoing works across busy construction projects in the Newmarket area. This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent hours and stable site placement for reliable, safety-conscious operators.
This role is ideal for drivers who are confident working in fast-paced site environments and who understand the importance of safety, precision, and teamwork when operating plant machinery.
Working Hours & Pay:
* 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
* 9.5 hours paid per day
* £20.00 per hour (CIS)
* Long-term duration
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Operating the Telehandler safely, efficiently, and in accordance with site regulations
* Transporting and supplying materials to various trades across site
* Loading, unloading, and distributing deliveries
* Supporting site logistics and maintaining workflow efficiency
* Conducting daily machine checks and reporting any defects
* Assisting with general site duties when required
* Maintaining clear communication with site management and banksmen
* Adhering strictly to all health & safety procedures
Requirements
* Valid NPORS or CPCS Telehandler Card
* Safety Critical Medical (essential)
* Proven on-site Telehandler operating experience
* Strong understanding of site safety standards
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
* Full PPE
* Good communication skills
