Quality Control Technician Monaghan A food manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Control Technician to support daily quality checks and contribute to the ongoing improvement of Quality & Food Safety systems. Hours 6:00am3:00pm (standard) Occasional 8:30am5:30pm Key Responsibilities Carry out routine QC checks: raw materials, finished products, weights, labels, temperatures. Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety regulations, and customer requirements. Support non-conformance investigations and corrective actions. Conduct hygiene and GMP audits. Assist with customer, third-party, and BRCGS audits. Investigate customer complaints and support root-cause resolution. Monitor and report on Quality KPIs. Maintain documentation, SOPs, and digital reporting. Knowledge, Education & Experience Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field. Minimum 5 years food manufacturing experience. Strong understanding of HACCP and Quality Management Systems. BRCGS experience essential. NPD and high-risk production experience desirable. Skills & Abilities Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently with good time-management and organisation. Proficient in computer applications and reporting systems. Full clean driving licence and own transport.
