Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a school in Bolton who are dedicated to delivering a high-quality, inclusive education that enables every child to achieve their full potential. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Intervention Teacher to join our team and positively impact the lives of students who need extra support to succeed in their learning.
Role Overview:
As an Intervention Teacher, you will support small groups or individual students requiring targeted assistance in areas like literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development. You will design and deliver customized intervention programs, collaborating closely with class teachers and SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators) to monitor progress and ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils.
This position is ideal for a seasoned teacher who is dedicated to fostering children’s learning and has the skill to inspire, motivate, and encourage students to overcome obstacles to achieve success.
Key Responsibilities:
ü Plan and deliver focused intervention sessions in literacy, numeracy, and other relevant areas.
ü Assess and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback to class teachers and parents.
ü Collaborate closely with teachers to identify students who would benefit from extra support.
ü Adapt learning strategies to address the unique needs of individual students or small groups.
ü Utilize a variety of teaching resources and approaches to engage students in meaningful learning.
ü Build strong relationships with students to boost their confidence and motivation to succeed.
ü Work alongside the SENCO and support staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
ü Keep detailed records of interventions, monitoring progress and advising on further support needs.
ü Promote and support the school’s ethos by fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
