Document Controller Freelance - Huddersfield - Part Time We are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Document Controller to join a leading Main Contractor working on a project in Huddersfield This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in document control and project administration within the construction sector. Role: As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining project documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, and version control. You'll play a key role in supporting the project team with timely access to drawings, reports, and other essential documents. Key Responsibilities: Set up and maintain document control systems and registers Manage incoming and outgoing documents, drawings, and correspondence Ensure all documentation is correctly filed, archived, and accessible Track revisions and ensure the latest versions are issued to relevant parties Work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to coordinate document flow Maintain compliance with company and project standards Support the Project Manager and wider team with administrative tasks and reporting Requirements: Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry Strong knowledge of document control systems (e.g. Viewpoint / 4Projects, Asite, Aconex, etc.) Excellent organisational and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
