As demand for our expertise continues to rise, we’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a talented and ambitious Structural Engineer to join our expanding team in Bristol. You'll be a key player in shaping our structural engineering capability—not just in Bristol, but across our other offices within our structures discipline.

This is your chance to be involved in a diverse portfolio of impactful projects, ranging from multi-million-pound developments (£1m – £200m) to detailed assessments of existing buildings. Your work will help shape the future of our built environment, supporting everything from cutting-edge commercial spaces to critical public sector infrastructure.

Why us?

* Vibrant, City-Centre Office: Work from our newly refurbished office in the heart of Bristol, designed to foster creativity and collaboration.
* Exciting Projects: Our work spans major industrial, commercial, education, healthcare, and defence projects—both in the UK and internationally.
* High-Impact Clients: Partner with government bodies (including the UK defence sector, police and emergency services), leading developers, and prestigious educational institutions.
* Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration: Be part of a fully integrated team where structural engineers work side-by-side with experts across all built environment disciplines.
* Career Development: We offer a clear path for career progression with ongoing support to help you achieve chartership and beyond.

What You’ll Do:

* Collaborate with senior team members to deliver structural designs and technical reports.
* Prepare design concepts and carry out detailed structural analysis using Eurocodes.
* Use advanced modelling and design tools (e.g. TEKLA Structural Designer, SCIA, Robot, TEDDS).
* Co-ordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other specialists across disciplines.
* Undertake site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction.
* Produce high-quality design documentation for tender and construction phases.
* Contribute to innovative, sustainable design solutions and push industry standards forward.

What You Bring:

* Degree (MEng/BEng) recognised by the Engineering Council with UK-based structural engineering experience.
* On track to becoming Chartered with the ICE or IStructE.
* Skilled in concrete and steel design; knowledge of masonry and timber is a plus.
* Proficiency in structural analysis software and a good understanding of BIM workflows.
* Strong communicator with excellent written English and report writing skills.
* A collaborative, driven team player with the confidence to take initiative.
* A UK driving licence and readiness for occasional travel to project sites.
