We’re looking for a detail-driven Quality Assurance Inspector to join our Quality team at our UK headquarters in Worthing. This role is key to ensuring the components, jigs, and fixtures used in our loudspeaker manufacturing meet the highest standards. If you thrive in a hands-on, production-focused environment and have a keen eye for quality, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
* Inspect and measure components to support production.
* Conduct ongoing inspections through the Part Inspection (PI) process.
* Record and report measurement data accurately.
* Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and R&D teams to resolve issues.
* Manage nonconformity notifications (Q4/Q3) and 8D reports.
* Maintain and calibrate metrology equipment in line with ISO 9001.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes
What You’ll Bring
* Foundation Degree in Metrology or equivalent technical education (HNC/HND).
* 3+ years’ experience in metrology or quality inspection.
* Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret tolerances.
* Skilled in using inspection tools (Shadowgraph, CMM, micrometers, etc.).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
* Experience with SAP in manufacturing would be an advantage
* Familiarity with CAD systems ( we use Siemens NX)
* Knowledge of 6S and continuous improvement methodologies
