Job Title: TR Fragrance Brand Ambassador – Issey Miyake, Narciso Rodriguez & Zadig & Voltaire
Location: Gatwick Airport
Contract: Part-time, 30 hours per week
About the Role
As a Fragrance Brand Ambassador, you will represent three iconic brands – Issey Miyake, Narciso Rodriguez and Zadig & Voltaire – within Gatwick Airport. You will embody the DNA of each house, inspire customers through storytelling and exceptional service, and drive sales by introducing passengers to our fragrance collections.
This role requires flexibility, passion for fragrance, and the ability to deliver outstanding results in a fast-paced, dynamic travel retail environment.
Working pattern: 5 days per week including weekends, with early starts from 5:00am and latest finishing time of 8:00pm (weekends off rostered every month).
Main Accountabilities
Sales & Service
• Achieve or exceed individual retail sales targets and sales mix.
• Actively approach and engage passengers, recruiting new customers to the brands.
• Deliver outstanding fragrance consultation services, recommending the right scent based on customer preferences and lifestyle.
• Drive IPT (items per transaction) by suggesting layering, gifting and complementary products.
• Use sampling and GWPs effectively to convert and upsell.
Brand Experience
• Represent Issey Miyake, Narciso Rodriguez and Zadig & Voltaire with passion and expertise.
• Share brand stories with customers to create memorable, luxury experiences.
• Support animations and new product launches, ensuring maximum visibility and conversion.
• Maintain high grooming standards and ensure counters are always presented in line with brand guidelines.
Product & Brand Knowledge
• Proactively build knowledge of fragrance notes, compositions, and brand positioning.
• Stay up to date via training, brand platforms, and Shiseido Group ShareApp.
• Communicate key features and benefits of products clearly and confidently.
Counter & Operations
• Ensure counters are always clean, well-stocked and visually appealing.
• Report stock shortages, overstock, and tester needs to the Retail Manager.
• Work closely with back-of-house teams to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Complete daily sales trackers and reporting as required.
Team & Relationships
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues, store managers, and WDF staff.
• Support additional staff during animations with enthusiasm and product expertise.
• Represent the brands professionally and consistently across all customer interactions.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• Previous fragrance or beauty retail sales experience (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Passion for luxury fragrance and storytelling.
• Strong selling skills with ability to meet and exceed targets.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work early mornings, late finishes, weekends and bank holidays.
• Must be able to pass a 5-year background check to obtain an airport pass.
