The role...
As a Claims Handler, you will manage a caseload of pre-litigated cases focused on EL/PL personal injury claims for our union members. Your tasks will include initial assessment on merits when cases exit the portal, obtaining evidence supporting liability from witnesses and pre-action disclosure, obtaining medical evidence, instructing non-medical experts, and making decisions on disclosure. You will assess the value of claims and liaise with clients, witnesses, experts, union members, third parties, and defendants.
Who we are looking for...
We are eager to hear from enthusiastic individuals, including recent graduates interested in personal injury law. If you are studying towards your SQE or an equivalent qualification, we are willing to provide training for the right candidates. We seek excellent communicators with a client-focused approach, able to work efficiently, accurately, and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of personal injury law, Pre-Action Protocols, Civil Procedure Rules, and funding procedures is advantageous, but we are open to training candidates with a strong interest in this area.
Understanding of case management systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is also desirable.
