We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Clerk to join our Office Services team onsite in Newcastle.
As a Service Clerk, you will provide a high level of customer service to employees and partners within the firm in a timely and professional manner. The Office Services team at Hall & Wilcox consists of four employees in the Newcastle office. Responsibilities include front of house (reception), catering, and office management.
You will be responsible for:
* Opening, sorting, scanning, and distributing incoming mail
* Booking couriers for pickup and delivery
* Photocopying court documents
* Binding of documents
* Maintaining and delivering paper and stationary supplies
* Housekeeping, including maintaining and restocking kitchen supplies
* Delivery and collection of legal documents from the Courts
* Daily banking for the firm
* Coordinating and processing all outgoing mail
* Relief for Front of House (lunch breaks and absences)
* Relief for national switchboard
* Assisting with catering requirements and room setup
* Scanning original documents as required
* Ad hoc duties as needed
About you
You will ideally have the following skills and experience:
* Experience in an office or professional services environment
* Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Reliable with a 'can do' attitude and proactive approach
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work autonomously
* Team player with a flexible approach
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Ability to work under pressure during peak times
* Proactive approach with the ability to prioritize
* Client-focused with strong organizational skills
