We are looking for experienced Butchers to manage our Butchery Departments as if they were their own business. This exciting role involves working with customers to develop their business, understanding the local market, and providing excellent service.
This position offers the flexibility to run a butchery business without financial risk. We seek someone with strong product knowledge of all meat proteins, self-motivated, and eager to succeed.
Responsibilities include maintaining high standards in stock management, food safety procedures, meat displays, staff morale, and customer satisfaction.
You will collaborate with the Store Manager to develop a business plan aimed at increasing sales and profitability.
Key duties:
1. Greeting and advising customers, answering questions, accepting orders, and providing friendly service.
2. Managing stock, including ordering and stocktaking.
3. Leading a small team, including staff scheduling.
4. Cutting meat to order.
5. Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.
6. Coordinating deliveries and pickups.
7. Controlling waste.
