Join Our Team as a SEN / SEND Tutor in Warwickshire!

We are excited to announce multiple openings for passionate tutors in Maths, English, or Science to support young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disabilities (SEND).

At Targeted Provision, we are on a mission to revolutionize the educational experience for children facing challenges such as Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD). This role is perfect for qualified SEN/SEND teachers eager to engage in 1:1 tutoring in a creative, flexible, and trauma-informed manner. Together, we can enhance the educational journeys of our students and help them thrive.

Your Role as a SEN / SEND Tutor:

* Provide engaging tuition in Maths, English, or Science to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other educational needs.
* Support students referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journeys.
* Deliver flexible and holistic tutoring that is trauma-informed and tailored to individual needs.


Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging tutoring sessions that meet the unique needs of each student.
* Provide holistic support that advances both educational and social-emotional development.
* Complete lesson reports and offer constructive feedback on student progress.


Requirements to Join Our Team:

* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS).
* A minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
* Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other additional needs.
* Knowledge of safeguarding processes.
* Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this).
* Two professional references.
* Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote assignments.

It is essential that you promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and adhere to safeguarding policies at all times.


Employment Status:

* This position involves engaging with us as a Worker for short-term assignments.
* You will work under a contract for service and be paid via PAYE.
* No set amount of work or expenses coverage is offered.
* Our insurance covers the work you do for us.
* This is not a self-employed tutoring position.
