Review Officer – Work Based Learning
We currently have a vacancy for a Review Officer within our Work based learning (WBL) directorate. The Review Officer will administer the WBL contractual learner review process in accordance with the Welsh Government programme specification. As a Review Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the learner journey, acting as both a mentor and a navigator for students working toward their vocational qualifications. Your primary focus will be providing high‑quality pastoral support and conducting regular progress reviews to ensure every learner remains on track. By working closely with FE tutors and WBL practitioners, you will help students curate their portfolios, update Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), and monitor milestones to ensure their educational path is both accurate and rewarding. Whether you are liaising with internal safeguarding teams or external stakeholders, your goal is to advocate for student success and ensure no learner is left behind.
This role demands a sharp eye for detail and proactive caseload management. By gathering learner feedback and continuously refining the support process, you will contribute directly to a culture of excellence and the successful achievement of learner outcomes.
