Music Teacher - Permanent Position - Merton, London About the Role: Our client, an esteemed secondary school located in Merton, London, is seeking a highly qualified and passionate Music Teacher to join their thriving Music Department. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in September. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and nurture a love of music in students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. They will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and engaging curriculum, fostering a creative and inclusive learning environment, and preparing students for success in their musical pursuits. Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated music lessons for students of varying abilities. Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Music Department's curriculum and resources. Collaborate effectively with colleagues to create a supportive and inspiring learning environment. Participate in extra-curricular musical activities, such as concerts, ensembles, and productions. Qualifications and Experience: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. A degree in Music or a related subject. Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary level. A strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Music.
