Job Description In this position, you will be joining the Intel Automotive Customer Engineering team as a Platform Applications Engineer (PAE) in the Corporate Strategy and Ventures organization. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: -Representing customer technical needs and requirement in new product development. - Providing technical assistance for the Car OEMs, Tier-1s and their ODMs by triaging customer issues and drive resolution across organizational boundaries. - Create and maintain customer collateral, training materials and usage guidelines. Contribute to demonstrator creation and presentation for future design win pursuit. - Willing to travel especially within Asia for onsite customer support. Minimum Qualifications: - Applicant must have a MSEE, BSEE or BSCS or equivalent with 5 years of experience related to BIOS/Bootloader/Firmware development, system integration. - Experience in debugging automotive applications related problems from concurrent system configuration, software/firmware, and hardware factors. - Experience in a customer-facing support role and have the ability to listen, understand, and respond professionally to customer questions and issues. - Strong knowledge in two or more of the following: Android, Linux, graphics, displays, cameras, audio, hypervisors/virtualization, HSIO, MCUs, automotive ethernet Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in automotive system design and their use cases. - Strong lab debug skills. Ability to use lab tools including debuggers, Protocol analyzers and high-speed oscilloscopes.
