Job Description
* Process and record incoming payments accurately into the accounting system
* Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment collections
* Prepare and distribute invoices and account statements to clients
* Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies efficiently
* Assist with month-end reconciliation for accounts receivable
* Maintain detailed and organised financial records for audits
* Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and account statuses
* Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and reporting
* Answering incoming queries over phone/email
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Receivable Assistant should have:
* Experience in accounts receivable or a related finance role
* Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting tools
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
