Healthcare Support Worker - Stroke Unit

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team within the Stroke Services.
This is an exciting and challenging role which involves assessing, implementing and evaluating patient care with special focus on patients affected with stroke.
Stroke experience is not essential as support and training are provided.
Main duties of the job
* Working alongside various members of the multi‑disciplinary team to support patients on their stroke rehabilitation journey.
* Supporting and providing patients and their families with expertise and skills.
Person Specification
* Level 3 or equivalent
* Experience in a health care setting for a minimum of 1 year
* Level 1 in functional Math and English
* Experience of minimum 1 year as a Band 3
* Experience (through placements or employment) of working in a busy environment
