Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to oversee the cleanliness and organisation of our private house which is used for weddings & events. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the housekeeping team, ensuring high standards of hygiene, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. Previous experience and a strong background in hospitality or janitorial services are highly desirable. Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and organisation throughout Minterne House
* Train and mentor housekeeping staff to uphold company standards and procedures
* Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with hygiene standards
* Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary
* Develop work schedules for housekeeping staff, ensuring adequate coverage at all times
* Address guest requests or complaints promptly and professionally
* Maintain health and safety standards in accordance with legal requirements and company policies
* Collaborate with management to implement continuous improvements in service quality
Skills
* Proven experience in private house/venue housekeeping or hospitality management, with a strong understanding of guest service excellence
* Janitorial experience with knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £15,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
