CNC TurnerTemp to Perm - £16.50 per hourPertemps Dudley are currently recruiting on behalf of a manufacturer operating within a production setting. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Turner to join a busy, driven team with a clear temp to perm pathway for the right candidate.Working Hours
* Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:15
* Friday: 08:00 – 15:30
Overtime may be required during peak production periodsPay & Contract
* £16.50 per hour
* Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term prospects
The RoleYou will be responsible for setting, operating and programming CNC lathes, including twin spindle and multi-bar feed systems. The role plays a key part in meeting production targets while maintaining quality, efficiency and strict health and safety compliance.Key Responsibilities
* Set up CNC lathes, load materials, secure workpieces and install tooling and fixtures
* Select, adjust and offset cutting tools to ensure accurate machining
* Work from engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Optimise machining processes and monitor machine performance
* Inspect and measure components using micrometres, Verniers, gauges, comparators, and height gauges
* Carry out in-process checks and maintain accurate production and quality records
Skills & Experience Required
* Strong CNC turning background with proven experience in machine setting and programming
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Confident use of precision measuring equipment
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a CNC machining environment
* Experience with twin spindle and bar-feed machines
