Overview
Join to apply for the WHM / Shipping Operator role at EGGER Group.
Responsibilities
* Operate as a member of a team in the Warehouse Department.
* Load and unload vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
* Ensure loads are correct as per documentation, and that boards are undamaged and correctly packed.
* Ensure that board packs are received and stored accurately and neatly in line with working procedures.
* Participate in stock counts and validations.
* Ensure all company property / equipment is used and maintained with due care and attention.
* Check that stock and work areas are maintained in a clean, tidy and organised condition.
* Observe and comply with the safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures and to ensure that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times.
* That all the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/ accidents are investigated and hazards are duly reported.
* Observe and comply with the Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual.
* Attend training courses deemed necessary for this position.
Requirements
* Fork Lift Truck certificate.
* Reasonable standard of secondary education.
* Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems preferred.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
