We are hiring ourfirst full-time engineer to help build the foundation of an enterprise AI agent platform.
This is asenior, backend-focused product engineering role centred onPython and modern AI systems. The role will focus on building reliable backend services, APIs, and agent orchestration capabilities, while contributing to the architecture and evolution of the platform.
You will work directly with the founders as part of a small, highly collaborative team, taking ownership of significant parts of the platform while remaining hands‑on in day‑to‑day development.
While the role is primarilybackend focused, experience withReact‑based frontend development is desirable so that you can help deliver complete features across the stack when needed.
This is an early‑stage role suited to someone who enjoysbuilding real systems, solving hard problems, and taking responsibility for the success of the product.
What You’ll Work On
Backend platform development
* Core platform services written inPython
* API development usingFastAPI
* Agent orchestration and lifecycle management
* Tool execution frameworks and agent capability management
* State management, retries, and error handling for agent workflows
* Logging, observability, and auditability
AI and agent systems
* Integration withLLM APIs
* Working withLangChain and related frameworks
* Designing safe and reliable agent execution patterns
* Managing prompt structures, tool invocation, and system state
Platform architecture
* Contributing to the architecture and technical direction of the platform
* Building systems that are robust, scalable, and maintainable
* Making pragmatic engineering decisions under uncertainty
* Avoiding unnecessary complexity while ensuring production reliability
Infrastructure and deployment
* Deploying services usingcontainers in cloud environments
* Supporting deployments onGCP and other cloud platforms
* Building systems that arecloud‑agnostic where appropriate
* Working with CI/CD pipelines and production environments
Full‑stack collaboration
* Collaborating with frontend engineers and designers
* Contributing to features inReact / Tailwind web application
* Supporting end‑to‑end feature delivery across backend and frontend components
What We’re Looking For
Must‑have experience
* StrongPython engineering experience
* Experience buildingproduction backend systems
* Experience withAPI development and modern backend frameworks
* Ability to writeclean, maintainable, production‑grade code
* Experience working inSaaS or cloud‑based systems
* Comfortable owning significant parts of a system and taking responsibility for delivery
Strongly preferred
* Experience withFastAPI or similar async frameworks
* Experience working withLLM APIs or AI‑powered systems
* Familiarity withLangChain or agent frameworks
* Experience working withcontainers and cloud infrastructure
* Familiarity withReact or modern frontend frameworks

* A narrow research or experimentation role
* A pure frontend engineering role
* A heavily process‑driven corporate environment
* A position focused purely on prompt engineering or AI experimentation
This is ahands‑on engineering role building real production systems.
