Princes Bradford has an opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join our Engineering division. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work for our Bradford site which is a powerhouse for soft drinks production.
The Position
Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, this role has responsibility for Asset Care Management for the site.
This role will provide support and guidance ensuring the site remains focused with the latest technologies and ultimately electrically compliant and developed in the area of Asset Management.
As a part of the Engineering function, this role will work with the site and Group to strive to achieve optimal operational efficiency at the lowest cost through the delivery of targets against the strategic objectives of the function:

Work closely with the Site Engineering Manager, Engineering function, Site Leadership Team, Group Engineering and Projects Team to support the delivery of an agreed manufacturing vision and strategy.

This is a Monday - Friday permanent position

Dimensions
11. Responsible for their respective site from an asset management perspective.
12. Responsible for reducing the site costs of asset management, supporting the Group Asset Care Manager to achieve a 3% reduction year on year.
13. Responsible for contributing towards the reduction of site utility consumption in line with Group targets.
14. Reporting to the Engineering Manager.
15. Work with operational peer groups sharing best practice and providing advice and support as required.

General Responsibilities
17. Understanding and implementation of lean manufacturing work practices including 5S, AM and problem solving (including root cause analysis), to drive continuous improvement activity throughout the site
18. Have a detailed understanding of the Princes Manufacturing System (PMS) and the Site Must Win Battle Plan
19. Ensure all training for direct reports is documented using the appropriate skills matrix.
20. You must exercise reasonable skill and care for the health and safety of yourself and other people at work and you must not interfere with or obstruct anything provided in the interests of health and safety at work.
21. The incumbent should demonstrate behaviours which are in line with the site values & help to improve the Quality, Safety & Environmental culture.
22. Support the business in working towards delivering our ethical trading and human rights vision.
23. When engaging with internal and external stakeholders (such as consumers, customers or suppliers) maximise any potential opportunities to communicate Princes’ ethical trade and human rights approach.

Role RequirementsKnowledge, Skills & Experience
24. Hands-on experience in an operational and engineering environment with a track record of world class asset care implementation within the manufacturing sector.
25. Demonstrable track record of achieving results/managing change.
26. Strong operational grounding within a complex fast moving manufacturing environment.
27. Operated within and familiar with implementation of the principles of World Class Manufacturing environments / Continuous Improvement methodologies.
28. Determined, influential with strong participative leadership skills and a track record of leadership in the planning and subsequent implementation of major projects within production facilities.
29. Experience of delivering results against financial targets, service levels and safety standards.
30. Good knowledge of established manufacturing processes, with awareness of developing technologies and techniques.
31. Good working knowledge of operating systems such as SAP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
32. Good understanding of project managements systems.
33. Good practical understanding of factory services (electricity, steam, compressed air, water etc.)
