Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Maintain proper inventory levels of medications and supplies
- Prepare prescription labels and ensure all necessary information is included
- Assist in the preparation of compounded medications
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and answer any medication-related questions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate medication therapy
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a pharmacy technician preferred
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is a plus
- Knowledge of medication administration and dosage calculations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
