An exciting time to join this renowned people-focused charity in their finance team in the position of Finance Manager (Property) at their site located near Ilford.
Your new role
Joining a forward-thinking, fast-paced and supportive finance department, the successful candidate will be passionate about leading teams, managing stakeholder relationships and transactional accounting process improvement.
1. Lead and develop a small team of Finance Administrators
2. Manage and oversee finance processes, including rental ie and payments; utilities, service charges and rates; supplier billing and invoice consolidation; and journal entries and master data management
3. Finance business partner with colleagues across various departments, including finance and non-finance teams
4. Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
5. Process review, improvement and implementation
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have strong transactional accounting experience. Experience in a shared service environment would be highly beneficial but not essential. Proven ability to manage and mentor teams will be pivotal, as will strong stakeholder relationship management experience. Confident systems and IT skills will be key and previous use of ERP systems and process improvement would be advantageous.
