SENIOR SITE AGENT
Location: LONDON, HAMPTON, MIDDLESEX
What you will be doing:
We are seeking a Senior Site Agent to join Thames, a Galliford Try business. You will be responsible for managing your section of works, ensuring performance meets client and company expectations.
* Participate in creating a safe working environment.
* Manage daily operations of your section, supervising site team and supply chain.
* Plan, control, and monitor project progress, coordinating sections as needed.
* Manage multiple packages of work, taking ownership of costs.
* Handle scope changes, temporary works, value engineering, and stakeholder relationships.
* Report progress to the Project Manager and assist with financial forecasting.
* Attend site meetings, ensure design information is up to date, and manage material procurement.
* Conduct health & safety checks, audits, and ensure compliance with RAMS, permits, and inductions.
* Resolve technical issues, maintain quality control, and keep site diaries.
* Lead and manage team members, conduct performance reviews, and monitor staff capabilities.
* Introduce new processes, techniques, and innovations on site.
About You:
* HNC or higher qualification.
* SMSTS certification.
* Relevant civil engineering experience.
* Ability to manage multiple packages and interpret technical data.
* Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication with site teams, subcontractors, designers, and clients.
