Join Our Team as an Accountant
Are you ready to take your accounting skills to the next level in a dynamic business environment? We're seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Accountant to support our finance team and help drive organisational success
What You'll Do:
· Prepare and review monthly management accounts to ensure financial statements meet regulatory and accounting standards.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify cost movements within the business.
· Get hands-on with month-end processes, working closely with Accounts Receivable and Payable teams, managing accruals/prepayments, and reconciling intercompany balances.
· Take charge of VAT and Plastic Tax returns, plus government reporting for all legal entities.
· Dive into analysis, reporting on spending variances and identifying areas for process improvement.
· Work side-by-side with operations to compile and review monthly spending trends.
· Engage in project work and ad-hoc analyses that help streamline the business.
· Recommend and implement innovative improvements to accounting processes.
What We're Looking For:
· ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent recognised accounting qualification, and a relevant degree or finance qualification.
· Experience with automated accounting systems, Excel, IT, and Oracle (or similar ERP).
· Passion for continuous improvement and results-driven initiatives.
· Excellent communication, collaboration, and administrative skills.
· Flexibility to tackle multiple projects and routine responsibilities.
· Experience in cross-functional teams, acquisitions/integrations, and expanding accounting functions to new regions is a bonus
