Job Duties:
* Provide cover for planned absences of primary school teachers
* Deliver pre-prepared lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum
* Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively
* Assess and provide feedback on student work
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Enhanced DBS check
* Experience working in a primary school setting
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
* Effective classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
* Additional training in special educational needs (SEN)
Working Conditions:
* Part-time hours (specific schedule to be determined)
* Work within a primary school setting in Mitcham
* Collaborate with other teachers and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
