Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Order Picker to join our team in a freezer warehouse environment. This role involves working in sub-zero temperatures to accurately pick and prepare customer orders of frozen food products for dispatch.
Key responsibilities include locating and picking products using pick sheets or handheld scanners, ensuring correct quantities and product codes are selected, and securely packing items onto pallets in line with company procedures. You will be responsible for checking product quality, reporting any damages or discrepancies, and ensuring all orders are completed accurately and on time.
The role requires operating warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks (training provided where necessary) and adhering strictly to health and safety and food hygiene regulations. Maintaining a clean and organised work area is essential.
The ideal candidate is physically fit, comfortable working in freezer conditions for extended periods, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and has strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfilment. Previous warehouse or order picking experience is desirable but not essential.
