About Us The Locality & Community Support Service in North Oxfordshire are seeking to recruit a Locality Support Worker to join their Team. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic worker who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people. About the Role The role is Grade 10, 30 hours per week, with a flexible working pattern to meet the needs of the service. The ability to travel across the County is essential. As a LocalitySupportWorker you will be required to - Serve as the Locality Worker for schools and healthcare settings, providing expert guidance to universal services. Conduct visits and review meetings to support Early Help, aiming to improve outcomes for children and families. Gain comprehensive knowledge of local services and build a professional network among those working with children and families. Encourage regular communication to identify vulnerable individuals and directly assess family needs in community settings. Offer consultations for professionals about children's support, facilitate discussions on strengths and needs, and recommend ways to enhance outcomes and promote collaboration. Support Team Around the Family meetings and operate a triage system for safeguarding concerns. Lead CASO initiatives, organise networking events, and coordinate peer support meetings focused on Early Help practice.
