We’re working with a welcoming secondary school looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with additional needs and help them feel confident, included, and ready to learn.
If you’re patient, proactive, and genuinely care about helping young people thrive, this could be the perfect fit.
What you’ll be doing:
* Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs
* Helping students stay engaged, focused, and confident in lessons
* Supporting behaviour using calm, consistent strategies
* Working closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support
* Encouraging independence, social skills, and emotional wellbeing

* Experience working with young people or individuals with additional needs
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Confidence supporting behaviour and adapting to different needs
* A genuine passion for inclusive education
