Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 2.Job Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Technician to manage and maintain end-user devices and peripherals across a hub/spoke operational model. This role involves extensive travel between sites, hands-on technical support, and coordination with service providers to ensure smooth IT operations and high service levels.
1. Location: High Wbe - High Wbe
2. Daily Rate: £ – PAYE, £ – UMB
3. Contract Day: Oct 2025 till 31-Mar-26 from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
4. Manage ticket queues and resolve incidents using ServiceNow (preferred).
5. Oversee hub stock levels and coordinate effective disposal of obsolete items.
6. Triage and coordinate repairs of faulty devices and peripherals.
7. Replenish lockers and ensure availability of IT assets across locations.
8. Engage with service providers to escalate and resolve technical issues.
9. Identify recurring problems and propose service improvements.
10. Maintain accurate records of inventory and service activities.
11. Provide excellent customer service to end users across multiple sites.
Key Requirements:
12. Basic IT knowledge (hardware/software troubleshooting).
13. Strong customer-facing skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
14. Highly organised and detail oriented.
15. Valid manual driving licence (essential for travel).
16. SC Clearance (mandatory).
17. Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms (preferred).
18. Willingness to travel frequently (up to 90% of the role).
