Role Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Cable Jointer Supervisor
to join a fast-growing organisation at the forefront of the EV & Energy sector.
You will play a key role in overseeing and auditing both
Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) jointing activities
, ensuring works meet IDNO/DNO standards while supervising contractors and supporting the delivery of high-quality client projects.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a field-based environment, enjoys problem-solving on-site, and wants to contribute to the UK's clean energy and EV transition.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise LV and HV jointing works across multiple projects.
* Conduct jointing audits to ensure compliance with DNO/IDNO specifications.
* Plan and oversee new supply connections and alterations to existing networks.
* Manage civils teams to ensure safe cable identification processes.
* Provide updates on design changes and maintain accurate project records.
* Carry out inspection, testing, and maintenance activities as required.
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety and industry regulations.
What You'll Bring
* City & Guilds 2304 qualification
(or equivalent experience).
* Previous experience working with a
DNO/IDNO
environment desirable.
* Experience with
underground and overhead jointing
, plus test & switch.
* NRSWA Supervisor
certification.
* Strong mechanical and electrical skills with proven problem-solving ability.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and team-player mindset.
* Valid
UK Driving Licence
(essential).
