On Site Activity Coordinator Job overview This role involves supporting the Activity Manager in delivering an exciting programme of on-site activities – helping to organise spaces, coordinate logistics, and liaise with school staff to make sure everything runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities Delivering Onsite Activities Our onsite programmes are a diverse mix of sports, arts and crafts and creative activities; this involves collaborating with external providers such as bushcraft, funfairs and DJs. You’ll be responsible for: Managing the inventory of equipment and making sure the Activity Leaders have what they need for any session Working with the Activity Manager in liaising with external providers and building a good relationship with our host school Making sure that the correct facilities have been booked, and that everyone is respectful of the facilities we are using Being confident in monitoring the flow of sessions, ensuring smooth transitions between activities and that students are supervised at all times Leadership The activity team is managed by the Activity Manager, but during on-site sessions you will often be the senior staff member on the ground. You’ll be responsible for maintaining order, enthusiasm, and safety throughout. You should: Give clear, confident instructions to Activity Leaders and ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities Lead by example: stay visible, engaged, and proactive and support Activity Leaders with behaviour management, engagement, and maintaining an organised environment Encourage teamwork and hold Activity Leaders accountable for energy, professionalism, and adherence to our core values Listen to feedback from both Activity Leaders and Group Leaders and act on it where appropriate Liaise effectively with the Activity Manager, providing timely updates and suggestions for improvement Get involved yourself and actively participate in sessions when needed Operational Support and Pastoral Care You'll be a key part of the management team, assisting as necessary with busy arrival days, setting up the centre with Dusemond branding, and always have the students safeguarding as a priority - you should ensure any concerns raised by staff are escalated as necessary. Job Details Full Board - Accommodation and meals provided throughout your contract Salary, including holiday pay - £645 per week, Returners bonus £50 per week Working Hours - Up to 48 hours per week based on 6 working days. Available Contract Dates - Temporary - July & August 2026 Pre-joining training dates - Management staff are required to attend a paid training weekend in advance of starting their contract. An online safeguarding course will need to be completed prior to your arrival at the centre.
