Construction Programmer Exeter £60,000-£65,000, Car Allowance & company bonus
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Construction Programmer to join one of our long-standing clients, out of their Exeter office.
As a Construction Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and updating construction schedules, coordinating site routes and layout plans with Construction Managers, and tracking project progress through regular reports and site visits. You will maintain key tracking systems such as the Build Sales Tracker, Milestone Tracker, and Timber Frame schedules, collaborating with senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain construction programmes and schedules
2. Collaborate with Construction Managers to develop site routes and layout plans
3. Issue weekly programme updates and track site progress
4. Maintain key tracking systems including trackers and schedules
5. Monitor project delays and issue exception reports
6. Conduct weekly sales reporting and update CML dates
7. Attend D&B meetings and coordinate build route adjustments
8. Assist in monthly contractor reports including key photos and dates
9. Conduct random site visits to monitor progress
10. Coordinate EPC submissions and update COINS with progress
11. Liaise with senior management on EOTs, LADs, and contractual obligations
What We’re Looking For:
* Proficient in ASTA, MS Project, or similar planning software
* Solid understanding of construction programming and project planning
* Familiarity with building regulations and construction standards
* Excellent communication and stakeholder liaison skills
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Ability to multitask across several active projects
* Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline
* Previous experience in residential construction, programming, or senior coordination roles
* Full UK Driving Licence
