Are seeking a highly passionate Senior Practitioner to lead our toddler room in our Brockley branch. Role Essentials: • To assist the manager in managing the provision of the nursery ensuring that children, parents and the staff team work together effectively to provide high quality care and education. • To assume overall responsibility for raising the quality of early years provision, including physical, emotional, social and intellectual education and care for children in the setting • To promote excellent practice at all times • To lead practice across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) • To support and mentor other practitioners in the skills and behaviours that safeguard and promote outstanding outcomes for children. • To act up as Third in Charge in the absence of both the Deputy and Nursery Manager. Requirements Personal Specification of Candidates: · Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Early years and Education or above. · Excellent communication, organisational skills and interpersonal skills. · Minimum of 3 years occupational experience in a nursery setting and a minimum 1 year’s experience in a leadership role. · An ambitious dedication to deliver outstanding childcare and education. · A ‘hands on’ and ‘can do’ attitude. Full time role 40hrs per week.
