Functional Skills Tutor – Harlow
We are looking for a tutor to work with a Year 12, supporting them with functional skills Maths and English in preparation for exams.
As an Outreach Tutor, you’ll create, plan and deliver personalised 1:1 sessions. Your role is to support their re-integration into education, offering tailored tuition that replaces school during this period and prepares for functional skills exam. This will be for 15 hours per week.

Rate of pay: £25 P/H via Umbrella Company
Your Role:
1. Provide one-to-one for students with SEND, helping them build confidence, life skills, independence, and safe community access.
2. Create and adapt individual lesson plans that target specific learning needs.
Eligibility:
3. Child-related or Education qualification.
4. Previous UK education experience.
5. Experience working with SEND.
6. Right to work in the UK.
7. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
8. Ability to provide references for the past two years.
