Job Description
Key responsibilities:
3. Lead and manage continuous improvement projects within the manufacturing department.
4. Coordinate cross-functional teams made up of internal colleagues and contractors.
5. Implement lean manufacturing principles and practices.
6. Identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies to address these.
7. Provide training and coaching to team members on continuous improvement methodologies.
8. Monitor and report on project progress and performance.
9. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
10. Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental strategies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful CI Engineer should have:
11. A degree in Engineering or related discipline.
12. Experience with CI tools such as Kaizen, SMED, route cause analysis, etc.
13. Experience using data analysis to identify and solve technical problems.
14. Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and practices.
15. Experience in leading and managing technical projects.
16. Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
17. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
18. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
