Registration
Essential criteria
1. Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
2. On the GMC Specialist Register for Medical Oncology or within 6 months of CCT at the time of interview
Qualifications:

3. MRCP (or equivalent)
Desirable criteria
4. MD, PhD, or equivalent higher degree
Knowledge and Expertise
Essential criteria
5. Broad-based training in Medical Oncology
6. Broad-based general professional training in general medicine
7. IT skills and computer literacy
Teaching
Essential criteria
8. Experience of teaching and training undergraduates, postgraduates, and junior medical staff
Experience
Desirable criteria
9. NHS experience within the last 3 years
10. Evidence of ongoing interest and achievement in research
