Are you a commercially minded digital trading professional who understands how products win online - whether that’s on a brand website, Amazon, or both?
Together with Lakeland, the UK’s home of creative kitchenware and innovative home solutions, we’re recruiting an Online Trading Manager to play a key role in driving performance across Lakeland’s owned website and marketplace channels, including Amazon.
This is a hands-on, people-focused role with real commercial influence - ideal for someone from an e-commerce trading or Amazon/marketplace background looking to step into a broader digital leadership position.
What You'll Do
Lead & Support the Team
* Manage and develop a small, experienced trading team across web and marketplace activity
* Provide day-to-day direction, coaching and support to keep execution smooth and priorities clear
Own Digital Trade Performance
* Drive trading performance across Lakeland.com and Amazon
* Ensure the right products are visible, competitively positioned and performing strongly
* Balance brand, commercial performance and customer experience
Trading Calendar & Campaign Delivery
* Own the digital trading calendar across web and marketplace
* Coordinate launches, seasonal activity and promotional campaigns
* Ensure teams are aligned and trading activity lands smoothly
Marketplace & Amazon Trading
* Support the commercial performance of Lakeland’s Amazon presence
* Optimise listings, promotions, availability and visibility
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure brand standards and trading objectives are met
Insight-Led Trading Decisions
* Monitor performance data and trading insight
* Identify quick wins, risks and opportunities across channels
* Make practical, commercially sound recommendations
Be a Steady, Positive Leader
* Bring clarity, structure and calm during busy trading periods
* Support colleagues through change with a collaborative, people-first approach
What We're Looking For
* Experience in e-commerce trading, digital merchandising or marketplace trading (Amazon)
* Background in retail, e-commerce or multichannel environments
* People management experience, or clear readiness to lead others
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Commercial mindset - you understand what sells, where, and why
* Comfortable working with data, CMS platforms and Excel
* Experience with Shopify and/or Amazon Seller/Vendor Central is advantageous, not essential
