About the Role:
As Group Accountant, you will play a key role in driving the financial performance of the group through accurate data analysis, robust forecasting, and strategic project support. You'll take ownership of the balance sheet while providing critical financial insights, and contribute to budgeting processes across the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders, your ability to manage large amounts of data and translate complex financial information into actionable insights will be an indispensable asset.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ownership of balance sheet management and reconciliation.
2. Deliver robust forecasting and budgeting support to the finance team.
3. Analyse large amounts of data to create meaningful reports and insights.
4. Utilise advanced Excel skills to streamline financial processes.
5. Support on various ad-hoc financial projects, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
6. Work collaboratively within a high-performing, fast-paced team.
Skills and Experience Required:
7. Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
8. Advanced Excel skills, with proven experience handling and analysing large data-sets.
9. Ability to connect data insights to business strategy and decision-making.
10. Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
11. Strong commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail.
12. Proven experience in forecasting, budgeting, and balance sheet management.
