Our Managing, Senior and Equity Partners are all based in the open plan office. This role will be based in our London West End office, which has recently been comprehensively refurbished and is in the heart of the West End, close to Bond Street and Oxford Circus transport links.
About the Role
The position is a one-year fixed term contract (maternity cover). The Senior Surveyor role within the West End Commercial Investment team is varied and includes the assembly of marketing collateral and sales campaigns, conducting property inspections, drafting Heads of Terms, undertaking research, and assisting with the financial modelling of assets. Working alongside senior members of the department, the successful candidate will benefit from significant client contact and will be expected to engage regularly with a peer group of investment agents across the market.
The team primarily focuses on office and retail property, but regularly collaborates with other departments across Allsop, including the Residential Investment, National and City Investment teams - on mixed-use assets, development opportunities, and client-led instructions.
The person will be expected to be based in the London West End office, given the nature of the role, home working days will be limited.
As an aspiring fee earner Senior Surveyors are expected to have thought about and begun working on their external profile in the market. Like all team members they will be expected to have good relationships with their peers across the firm and the wider industry and be willing to assist others within the team.
Responsibilities
* Assist in appraising property with the ability to undertake your own property appraisals and modelling – have a good working knowledge of Excel and be able to work through cashflows and assist with development appraisals.
* Manage market trackers and draft market reports.
* Collate marketing collateral, including liaising with clients, writing sales particulars, drafting marketing reports, and collating information to populate data rooms.
* Meet with a peer group of investment agents to discuss upcoming and ongoing property sales. The team can assist with introductions to other agents.
* Conduct property inspections with clients and interested parties.
* Prepare Heads of Terms and report offers to clients.
* Assisting with the wider West End team including assets where the Investment, Leasing, and Asset Management teams collaborate.
* Support senior team members in building successful business relationships, with the aim of servicing and expanding our client base.
* Attend meetings and client events.

* IT literate, able to use excel to produce cashflows.
* Whilst not essential, we are particularly interested in candidates who have a good understanding of AI (Copilot).
Package and Benefits
50-55k OTE, dependant on experience. Our offices typically close over the Christmas period for 3-5 days, with colleagues “on leave” but not having to take annual leave to enjoy these days off.
