Protocol Education is currently seeking dependable, proactive, and hands-on Caretakers to support schools across Camden on a short-term, daily supply basis.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining safe, clean, and well-organised environments, and who can confidently support the smooth day-to-day running of school sites.
No two days are the same, but your role will be essential in ensuring a safe and efficient environment for staff and students.
What you’ll be doing:
Opening and closing school premises, ensuring site security
Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs
Maintaining cleanliness and safety of school buildings and outdoor areas
Performing routine health and safety checks
Preparing classrooms and spaces for lessons, activities, and events
Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
You’ll need:
* Previous experience in a caretaker, site assistant, or maintenance role (preferred)
* Strong practical and problem-solving skills
* A reliable, punctual, and self-motivated attitude
* Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
