We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various welding techniques. Duties
* Install and maintain piping systems according to schematics and project specifications.
* Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding as required for various materials.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete tasks.
* Conduct assembly and installation of plumbing fixtures and components.
* Troubleshoot and repair existing piping systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Carry out routine maintenance on piping systems to prevent future issues.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in pipefitting or a related field is essential.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
* Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
* Familiarity with plumbing systems and construction practices.
* Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to installations.
* Experience using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment effectively.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
