The focus is on personalised development to improve skills and services. We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Apprenticeship Tutor & Assessor to deliver and assess Community Activator Coach Level 2 & 3, Sports Coach Level 4. The role will also involve taking on Skills Coach duties supporting other learners on different apprenticeship standards supporting them through their learning journey. This is a unique opportunity to work with a range of employers, helping to develop the next generation of activity professionals and sports coaches. The ideal candidate will have hands-on occupational experience in the sports coaching and leisure sector and be confident adapting delivery style to meet different workplace contexts. Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality apprenticeship training. Plan and deliver tutorial presentations to support learner knowledge and engagement. Provide engaging 1-1 and group sessions (tutorials will tend to be online) tailored to individual learner and employer needs. Assess learner work in line with apprenticeship standards and awarding body requirements. Support learners with portfolio building, on-programme assignments, and EPA preparation. Use your first-hand experience to provide real-world context for the apprenticeship standard. Adapt your training approach to suit learners. Monitor and track learner progression, completing regular reviews and providing constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records in line with funding and compliance requirements. Build strong relationships with employers to ensure apprentices are supported in the workplace. Stay current with industry trends, apprenticeship guidelines, and assessment methods. Essential Requirements Proven occupational experience in the sports coaching and leisure sector. Recognised Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent). Recognised Teaching qualification (PTLLS, AET or equivalent - minimum level 3 Tutor and Assessor). Strong understanding of the apprenticeship standards. Excellent communication, coaching, and organisational skills. Ability to motivate and inspire learners of all abilities. Competent in using e-portfolio systems and delivering training online.
