What to expect
As a Head of Branch Modernisation you will join us on our journey and undertake a strategic role by being accountable for defining and delivering the commercial strategy that underpins a large‑scale, multi‑year transformation of the branch estate.
The Head of Branch Modernisation will be a senior commercial leader providing leadership of the Branch Modernisation Programme. You will provide commercial, operating model and partnership leadership, shaping how branches evolve, including digital enablement and media‑ready environments that enhance customer experience while unlocking sustainable third‑party revenue streams. Working closely with stakeholders you will define the delivery and operating model of the branch refit programme, shape the partner procurement approach and design the future organisational and capability model for a digital media network.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to have significant commercial leadership experience, specifically within large scale transformation or capital programmes within Retail. In addition to this, the ideal candidate will have:
• Commercial & Strategic Leadership: Strong commercial judgement and strategic thinking
• Proven track record defining and delivering new revenue models and commercial strategies.
• Experience shaping operating models, delivery models or transformation frameworks at scale.
• Extensive experience building and managing complex partner ecosystems.
• Operating Model Design: Ability to architect scalable, future‑proof models.
• Influence & Communication: Exceptional executive presence and stakeholder management.
• Partner & Negotiation Acumen: Comfortable shaping and leading complex commercial relationships.
• Experience in retail, consumer, multi‑site or physical‑digital environments desirable
