We are pleased to be looking for a new person to join our reception team. The successful candidate would be contracted to work all day on a Monday and a Tuesday with scope for overtime at other times in the week although the ability to do this is not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient information and update records as necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical office or similar administrative role is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using EMIS systems or similar software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
